12 DIY Projects for your Tractor Mounted Mini Backhoe Excavator

Whether you are a professional landscaper, hobby farmer, or need to maintain a large area of land, you likely have a compact and/or subcompact tractor in your equipment inventory.

As you know, these versatile tractors serve a variety of functions across many different use cases, with the mini 3 point backhoe excavator being perhaps one of the most versatile tractor implements available for small and medium sized tractors.

In today’s blog post we are going to take a look at a variety of ways professionals and hobbyists alike have put the tractor mounted backhoe attachment to use in some obvious (and sometimes not so obvious!) ways.

Fortunately these days with the internet and technology at our fingertips we have the benefit of learning from others and in some cases avoiding their mistakes!  Below are a list of 12 carefully selected examples of DIY projects you can do with your backhoe attachment.

Each entry includes the tractor model used for the project (compact and subcompact), gross hp power output and pto hp rated to power the backhoe implement, and Victory’s suggested backhoe model based on the specs of that tractor.
