erformed. I have 2.5 miles of trails on my hunting property and clearing them used to take me a couple of days with a walk-behind sickle bar mower and line trimmer. Now it takes me about 1 to 1.5 hours to clear the trails of grass, ferns and weeds. When I assembled it I put the wheels behind the mower and to the inside. I found this set up to have way too much hitch weight, probably 100+ pounds, which I could barely lift onto the hitch of my 4-wheeler. I switched them to being inline with the drum and now it is much easier to lift onto the hitch ball. Overall I give this machine an A+. It performs very well and saves my a ton of time keeping my trails clear.

rst two jobs were a total of 28 hours of cutting 4 to 5 foot tall grass and weeds here in central Oklahoma. I am using a mx5100 HST and was able to cut through the stuff without a problem. I thought I may have ordered too much mower, but your machine worked very, very well. The time to put all together was a minimum. Read the instructions twice before I went to work. Unit was packaged very well. Thanks for the extra steel. Again, 5 stars on all accounts. I will recommend your company and this mower to all that may ask.

ck. The open back is an excellent feature. A previous Flail mower I had would clog up with brush. Ryan at Victory was very helpful with all my needs. You don't always find dealers like that these days! Thanks again Victory! Because it is so heavy duty you need to work up to 540 RPMs very gradually.

rchase, the product does not hold up. I have had welds break on a snowplow used 5 times, and they indicated it was due to an impact or heavy load which is false (the snow in Montana is fairly dry compared to most areas). The local welding shop has indicated its cheap overseas metal, with poor tensile strength. Victory offered to ship a free replacement part, at about 25% the cost of the plow (apparently free is not free). Avoid Victory at all costs, and don't be tempted by their inexpensive pricing, you'll pay for it in the long run!!

ment that i had never seen.... but I'm glad I did. I have previously owned 2 flail mowers - a simca and a Farm-Maxx fm-220. This is a better built unit. First pic is shipping container in garage. The second pic shows thickness of frame for example. 3rd pic - ITS HEAVY! headed down driveway after unloading from truck. 4th pic -behind tractor not cutting. 5th pic - shows finished cut . Shipping etc... went smooth - updates on status were almost daily. I ordered a few extra hammers just to be on the safe side, and they were shipped with the mower (just to confirm spare parts were available). Assembly was pretty easy - i did it single handed, but 2 would have been much easier. I have only used it twice, but am very happy with the cut. Would definitely recommend, and will update review if any significant changes -good or bad.
