Its vertical rotation range of -50° to +93° makes it suitable for small farms, vineyards, and orchards.
The TRIM-48 includes a dynamically balanced rotor shaft for smooth, consistent operation and a durable cast-iron gearbox with a built-in freewheel for reliable performance. I absolutely love this flail mower! I called on a Monday and the trucking company called for delivery on Wednesday. It was packaged very nicely and easy to assemble, with very good instructions and a good description of how to cut the PTO shaft to the right length. I didn’t attach mine with the Quick-hitch because I wanted to keep it as close to the tractor as possible. I have the Summit 4-spool rear remote for my 1025r, so it was easy to connect. You will need flow restrictors on the extend and pivot circuits however! This is about all the 1025 wants, pulling it up my hill was challenging until I installed the HydrosPlus Turbo Plus and the Cooler+ for the 1025r. Now – no problem at all on my 30% slope, transmission temps get to about 150 degrees and stay there. I really like the ability to extend the mower and not drive over the grass I want to cut, and this is the best on the market for ditch & embankments. It’s pretty heavy for the 1025r so a little tweak there and no problem at all to lift all the way up! While it’s the “Standard Duty” it does just fine chopping the brush on my hill.
I re-purposed the shipping crate into a cart that lets me attach easily and roll it around in my shop for storage.
I also can’t say enough good things about Victory Customer Service. They answer the phone, and super responsive. I will buy more Victory implements!
