The MFZ-195 Heavy Duty Flail Mower is built for 45–65 HP tractors with CAT I (CAT II bushings included) three-point hitch. It pairs a 76″ cutting width with a 20″ hydraulic side-shift for precise offset mowing along fence lines, orchards, fruit rows, and roadsides.
Designed to mulch heavier vegetation, the MFZ-195 runs 3.3 lb (1,500 g) forged, galvanized hammer flails—18 total—on an electronically balanced rotor at 2200 RPM. It shreds grass, undergrowth, and branches up to 2″ diameter while the 5.3″ self-cleaning rear roller holds an even 0.75″–2.95″ cut height. Power is delivered through a Comer gearbox and multi-belt drive with SKF rotor bearings and stainless grease nipples for long service life.
Performance and serviceability are built in: rear insertable tines keep material inside the chamber for finer mulch (remove for standard mowing), the replaceable counter knife boosts chop quality, and a belt-tension test window allows quick checks without removing the cover. The front safety flaps help contain debris, and the mower ships largely assembled in a wooden crate to protect the finish.
